Ohm’s Law Of Small Business:
The Business Owner And Employee Dynamic.

A person risks everything they have to start a pencil factory.
However, the Resistance of creating all of the pencils by them self is too great.
Luckily there is enough extra Potential in the pencil business
that they can take some surplus Current/Energy
in the form of currency and hire people to make pencils for them.

The role of every employee is to overcome the Resistance of
daily operations so the owner doesn’t have to.
However, the owner has to overcome all or the other Resistance that comes with
managing and maintaining the business once it is established.

Employees always say that without them there would not be a business.
Owners always say that without their risk others wouldn’t have a job.
The truth is, it is a codependent relationship governed by Ohm’s Law.

The less time it takes to efficiently train someone to do a job,
the less value that position has.
The more people there are willing to do any job,
that those with limited education and ability can do,
further reduces the value of that role in the company.

The first role of every employee is to reduce Resistance
for the owner by doing the work required.
That is why any employee who, in any way,
increases Resistance is the first to go
once their increased Resistance starts effecting productivity.

Likewise, if the owner them self imposes too much unnecessary Resistance
upon the staff, the staff will eventually leave.
If that occurs the owner will once again have all of the Resistance
of making every pencil them self.

Employees who understand this lesson know that
the first and most important customer is the owner of the business.
Those who factor this into their daily conduct will be kept
for as long as the business can afford to compensate them.

Owners of businesses who truly appreciate their staff,
are grateful for their good fortune, and have basic human decency,
find other, non monetary ways, that do not effect productivity,
to reduce Resistance in other areas of the employees life.

As long as both parties agree to these terms,
which are bound by the reality Ohm's Law creates,
production of the pencils continue and the owner
will continue to be compensated for the risk they took.
That is how Ohm’s Law appears in small business.

It is truly a dance of energy that must remain balanced
or the circuit will be broken.

No one is forced to continue working at any legitimate business.
Any party can leave when ever they chose.

The level of your accomplishment in life is equal to
the amount of Resistance you overcome.

The vast majority of grievances employees have,
that get blamed on this business dynamic,
are in fact non business related struggles
involving their personal circumstance.

The harsh reality is, unskilled labour has limited value.

If the amount of compensation an unskilled position pays
is not compatible with the lifestyle expectation of the individual,
it is the Personal Responsibility of the individual
to engage and overcome a new, greater, Resistance.

That Resistance always comes in the form of
furthering ones skills through experience or education.

There is nothing easy about self improvement.
Those who cannot accept and do this
find that their circumstance never changes.

If your circumstance is currently unacceptable,
what are you willing to risk and sacrifice to improve it?
Regardless of how you chose to act let
Ohm's Wheels Of Life be your guide.

It is through the experience it alone creates
that you will Realize Your Potential.
